My name is Tim Sparks. I committed my life to JESUS in the Spring of 1982 as a young sailor in the US Navy. I was driving to work when the song “River” by Leon Patillo aired on the radio. It brought tears to my eyes and touched my heart in a way I had never felt before. I had to pull over to the side of the road. I knew the LORD was calling me to receive Him into my heart that morning. Ever since then, the LORD has spoken to me through His Word, and often times through songs. I have strived to shine His LIGHT during my 20-year Naval career and presently as a small business owner. 

I hope to use this blog to share a little of what the LORD is teaching me. I pray that the scriptures, songs, and acronyms will be a blessing to you.
