SIN WAS DEFEATED, Where? At the CROSS OF CALVARY!!

The HOLY SPIRIT shared with me two acronyms for the words SIN and SON.   Both words are only three letters each, and easy to remember, but what a powerful difference between the two:  

The word SIN, sees itself’s needs with the focus on the word ITSELF’s starting with the letter “I”.

The word SON, sees other’s needs with the focus on the word OTHER’s starting with the letter “O”.

 In 2000, the LORD gave me the opportunity of sharing with my mom, via telephone the two acronyms SIN & SON .  As soon as I shared the two words with her, she immediately stated:  “What an EYE OPENING experience”.   She had used the two letters “ I & O”(eye opening).  She is with GOD today,  Thank you MOM for your comment.  I will always remember that conversation of JOY with you.

SIN.  Where did it originate?, and how does it separate me from GOD?

GENESIS is where sin originates.   GOD gave Adam the freedom to eat from any tree in the garden,  but commanded him to refrain from the fruit of the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.   Adam ate the fruit offered to him that Eve  took from the Tree that GOD commanded not to eat from.  The only single command GOD had told him, yet he willfully ate the fruit.  Adam’s action to disobey GOD’s word dis-connected mankind from GOD.

ISAIAH tells us clearly that everyone who has ever lived (apart from CHRIST) has been a sinner, both by birth (inheriting Adam’s sinful nature) and by our own deliberate actions.  “All we like sheep have gone astray,”  He goes further in Verse 53:6 “we have turned, every one, to his own way”, then adds in the second half of Verse 53:6  “And the LORD has laid on HIM (JESUS), the iniquity of us all”.   JESUS did more than pay the penalty for our sin’s; He actually took away our sin’s and carried them HIMSELF to the CROSS.  PAUL wrote in (2 CORINTHIANS 5:21) “For He made HIM who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the Righteousness of GOD in HIM”(JESUS).

SON.  JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, THE SECOND PERSON IN THE TRINITY.  THE DAY IS COMING WHEN “EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD”  I CANNOT TELL YOU WHAT DAY IT IS, BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE DAY IS NEARER THAN YOU THINK.  I PRAY WITH ALL MY HEART THAT EACH ONE OF YOU WOULD GET TO KNOW THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK OF LIFE (THE BIBLE) THAT WAS WRITTEN FOR YOU, AND THAT YOUR BOOK OF LIFE WILL BE OPENED & READ IN HEAVEN BY THE AUTHOR HIMSELF.
